HOUSING
SILK’s Transitional Housing program includes an up to 6 months graduated rent program.  This could include the cost of security deposits, rent, utility expenses, and/or credit repair, while helping build self esteem in our educational classes.  At the end of the 6 months, SILK Empowered offers additional services that will assist the participants in eventual homeownership.

This will include SILK Empowered buying a building for transitional living as well as creating a network of rent to own homes at affordable prices.
