ABOUT SILK EMPOWERED
SILK Empowered was formed in May 2008 with the intent of helping women who have been victims of domestic violence rebuild their lives.  We provide programs that focus on building Strength, Independence, Love and Knowledge (SILK) that empower them to have self worth and eventual homeownership.

SILK Empowered's current program provides assistance by offering housing programs, and educational programs designed to help the women grow personally and to increase their independence.
